Members of Fox Valley Girls Coding Club working on programming techniques that they will use to update the Geneva Film Festival website.
FVGCC is working with the Geneva Film Festival Volunteer Committee to create a new WordPress website that will allow potential festival attendees to view movie trailers, get information on the festival and where the films will be shown, allow for ticket purchases, marketing opportunities and much more. As FVGCC’s first community project, work on the website is giving the girls an opportunity to learn HTML, work with a real world client, meet deadlines and client expectations, see their programming work utilized in real time and learn soft skills associated with programming such as writing copy, marketing, and more.
